In unserem Lokalblatt “Blaumännle” steht heute ein Artikel über den 24-Stunden-Kick. Ratet mal, wer darin erwähnt wird:
Abpfiff Punkt zwölf Uhr: das Jugendwerk hat das Seminar mit 157:152 Toren geschlagen. Damit geht dieser Kick als der torärmste in die Geschichte des 24-Stunden-Kicks ein. Das lag wohl an den guten und in diesem Jahr durch Torhüterprämien hochmotivierten Keepern. Torschützenkönig wurde Hans-Ulrich Probst (Seminar) mit 23 Toren, Michael Hettich (Jugendwerk) war mit 25 mal zehn Minuten ohne Gegentor der Torwartkönig.
Jipii! Im Übrigen liefs für mich am ersten Tag gar nicht gut, ich hatte Samstag Abend gerade mal 8 mal die Torwartprämie bekommen. Gut dass die Spieler nachts nichts sehen :-)

Soll hier keine Schleichwerbung sein, aber der Preis ist schon sehr gut:
Ich überlege schon, da zuzuschlagen. Zusammen mit einer 2GB Speicherkarte wären das weniger als 200 Euro – sehr günstig. Aber eigentlich wollte ich erst in den USA schauen – nochmal Preise vergleichen…

Heute ist die neue Version vom besten Java Browser für mobile Endgeräte erschienen: Opera Mini 4 Beta

New Desktop-like layout mode
Prior to this beta, Opera Mini only had one layout mode, called ‘fit-to-width’, which reformatted the webpages nicely to fit in a single column. The fit-to-width mode works fine on most pages. However fitting pages with intensive structures and complicated designs into a single column is not always the best option. Enter ‘PC View’ layout.With ‘PC View’ layout (also known as ‘Desktop layout’), a thumbnail of the webpage, similar to what you would see on the PC/desktop browser, is first shown. Using the mouse curser (also new in this beta) or a stylus you could select a region and instantly zoom in. (See screenshots below)
The immediate recognition of the pages with ‘PC View’ layout adds to the browsing speed on mobile phones. Navigating pages are also easier, since the menus and page content are in the same position as on the PC. The new desktop layout mode should also help in reducing some of the barriers to the adoption of mobile browsing.
Zoom
Zooming is done instantly, adding a pleasant effect to the experience. The zooming technology (called ‘Intelligent Zoom’) used in ‘PC View’ was first introduced by Opera for the Nintendo Wii browser.When you’re zoomed-in, the text content is neatly reformatted to the size of your phone’s screen, thus eliminating the need to scroll horizontally.

Probleme mit Windows Live Writer gelöst

Neulich habe ich erwähnt, dass ich den Windows Live Writer verwende und noch Probleme mit Umlauten habe. Dies habe ich gerade eben gelöst und zwar so:
Non-ASCII characters render incorrectly on UTF-8 encoded blogs
Description: On WordPress 2.1+ and PHP versions older than 5.0.2, publishing posts using Writer results in non-ASCII characters showing up as either squares or question marks.
Reason and Solution: Writer erroneously prepends the UTF-8 Byte Order Mark to XML-RPC requests that are UTF-8 encoded. This prevents WordPress from correctly detecting the UTF-8 encoding declaration, so ISO-8859-1 is assumed instead.
Run regedit.exe and find the following key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Windows Live Writer\Weblogs\<your-blog-id>
Verify that the subkey ManifestOptions contains a characterSet=”UTF-8″ value. If so, under the subkey UserOptionOverrides, add a new String Value named characterSet and leave its value empty.
